After a long struggle, our paper is finally out. Polyphosphate Kinase-1 regulates bacterial and host metabolic pathways involved in pathogenesis of M. tuberculosis. Thanks to Ramandeep Singh and everyone for truly collaborative efforts to achieve this. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…

Out today in Nature Biotechnology! PhD students & postdocs: there's a trick – overlooked and underused – for having new ideas in the creative process. Talk science 1 on 1 with a science buddy that you trust and think of it as an improvisation. nature.com/articles/s4158…… Martin Lercher

Proud to share our work out now in nature nature.com/articles/s4158…! In an amazing collaboration w/ Liz Campbell & Maddie Delbeau Darst-Campbell Lab we identify the/a source of the fitness cost of rifampicin resistance (RifR) in Mtb and how some compensatory mutations rescue the cost!

I am thrilled to share that I won Best Poster award at 3rd Annual Symposium on Innovations in Anti-mycobacterial Drug Discovery NTU Singapore. It was a pleasure to recieve this award from Prof. Peter Sander. Thank you Amit Singhal for guidance! A*STAR Infectious Diseases (ID) Labs #TB #Drugdiscovery

Had an amazing time at the 3rd Annual Symposium: Innovations in anti-mycobacterial Drug Discovery. Got to see some biggest brains in the world of NTM and TB - seriously these folks probably dream in molecular structures. Talks were fantastic@Thanks NTU Singapore

Great. "#Heterogenity" is the theme in TB symposium next year. We are organizing an EMBO, details coming soon Dhiraj kumar Priscille Brodin coming-soon.embo.org/gw25-02

Happy to share the research work from DBT-THSTI . This work, rdcu.be/dL6Ti was done by students Tannu, saurabh chugh. We have characterized menAT TA systems from Mtb. The work was funded by DBT/WT India Alliance. Collaborative work with Krishan Gopal Thakur, Amit Awasthi.

Thrilled to share that we have 2 new manuscripts on drug-resistant #tuberculosis out at Nature Communications ! In this pair of manuscripts, we investigated changes in #mtb physiology associated with INH resistance. 1/n nature.com/articles/s4146… nature.com/articles/s4146…
