Wonderful commemoration of the life and achievements of Dr Elsie Widdowson, and unveiling of her Blue Plaque. An incredible scientist who during her training at King’s initiated the work that led to the composition of foods tables.

It’s so important to get the truth about ā€œphase based trainingā€ out there. And working alongside Kirsty Sale I’ve learned a lot! We’ve also deduced I must have won a medal or 2 on every day of my cycle at some point given I’ve got 75 Paralympic medals/World titles šŸ’ŖšŸ»

One of the most important tweets I’ve seen this year ā¬‡ļø Dame Sarah Storey has won 75 Paralympic medals and World titles across all phases of the menstrual cycle. Let that sink in. Female athletes: IT IS POSSIBLE TO WIN ON EVERY DAY OF THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE šŸ’ŖšŸ» Time to empower!
