Challenging 4v PMEG for type 1a endoleak from a previous Endurant. Had to use a couple of these techniques for cannulation: coda backboard for celiac and then loop snare the Aptus to prevent kickback for left renal (fen crossing Endurant suprarenal stent). #aortaed

Ipsilateral IBE from single groin access under local for rupture AAA from type 1b endoleak from previous EVAR. The 12F dry seal sheath makes that hair pin turn somehow and allows for delivery of the internal iliac stent; but wow the sheath gets beat up. Patient did well!

I interviewed my daughter every first day of school since kindergarten. The last one is now done, since she is a senior. 🥹. Here's how it turned out.

My very first clinical rotation was in vascular surgery and it was an incredible experience. A unique case in my second week led me to collaborate with Salim Lala on a case report, and I'm excited to share our preprint in JVS-Cases Innovations and Techniques! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

A huge and unexpected loss for our GW Surgery family. A sobering reminder that time is precious. Debra Lai was just getting started leaving her mark Earth side and those of us that knew her are better for it. đź’ś Anton N. Sidawy, MD MPH FACS DFSVS MAMSE gofund.me/408064aa

Great to be back at VAM 3 years later. VAM 2022 in Boston was my first VAM and pivotal in me choosing vascular surgery for residency. Full circle moment to come back as a resident and hopefully as an attending in a couple years!! #VAM2025
