What a fabulous day! Though I was sponged three times over, so spent half the day soaking wet! Thank you to all who came to my Big Birthday Bash. It was a great day in support of a wonderful charity, @WiltsAirAmbu.

Delighted to be invited to 17 year old Kyle Spring's send off on his epic bike ride from Salisbury to Ukraine, which will be raising funds for vulnerable Ukrainian children. I wish him a safe journey.

Recently, I attended Salisbury Hospice Charity’s Summer Fair, which was supported by Salisbury Shopmobility. Scooters were available to borrow, enabling those with limited mobility to access the event. It is great to see the services we offer benefiting our local community.

A fantastic partnership between Salisbury City Council and Salisbury Football Club. Official merchandise is now being sold in the city centre at Salisbury Information Centre on Fish Row. It’s good to see our local club getting involved with the local community.

Delighted to have been invited to the Wiltshire Motorcycle Rally on Saturday. Shout out to the Rugby Club for hosting, all who took a pitch, & everyone that came to support but especially to the organiser, Sam Davis, and her team. A good time was had by all!

With phase 1 of the Salisbury River Park nearing completion, it was great to attend a celebration of the project last Friday. The look and feel of this area of the city will be entirely transformed. Once the changes have had a few seasons to settle, the impact will be remarkable.

It was a delight to accompany Phyll yesterday on her 37th out of 100 walks around the Cathedral, to raise money for Salisbury Trust for the Homeless. At age 99, Phyll's mission is to complete her 100th walk before her 100th birthday in July next year. I wish her every success.

A great privilege to be invited to meet Radio Odstock's outside broadcast team yesterday in support of the League of Friends Sweetshop and Stars Appeal Bookshop. A big thank you to Chris Emm for hosting me and to all the volunteers who make this happen.

Dropped into my favourite stretch of the River Avon, the London Anglers Association fishery at Britford, to meet with the Fishery Manager, Stuart Wilson. Subjects under discussion were river pollution and the management of flood water through the river system over the winter.

Delighted to be at the Youth Speaks debate at Bishops Wordsworth's School on Tuesday Evening. Organised by Salisbury Rotary, we listened to some impassioned debates from BWS, South Wilts and Winchester School Year 9 and 6th form pupils.

"Desert Island Discs" in the Medieval Hall for the Friends of Salisbury Cathedral - thank you to host Penny Brown, compere Luke Marsh, organiser Natalie Maylen & John Waddington for the great venue. I'm informed my song choices went down well - remarkable given my music taste!

It was wonderful to attend the Pancake Race today in support of Salisbury Foodbank. A great bit of community fun that brings everyone together for an amazing local cause. It was fantastic to see people from a variety of different organisations across the city taking part.

It was great to attend the careers event at Salisbury Guildhall, hosted by John Glen MP and Salisbury Job Centre Plus. A great opportunity for the people of Salisbury to connect with local employers and explore a variety of career paths.

80 years ago yesterday, marked the end of a part of the biggest conflict in history. VE Day, the date we officially recognise as the end of the Second World War in Europe. Thank you to all who joined us to commemorate this important day.
