Eurgh goodness this hits close to home. My kids are everything, but parenting teenagers is HARD. Grateful my boys are mostly little legends, but suddenly they speak a different language, need different things. Sad that we don’t feel able to say it out loud, I miss my ‘babies’.

Today a colleague took time out of their day to fetch me some lunch, having recognised my diary meant I wouldn’t be able to eat until the end of the day. Grateful for a team who look out for each others wellbeing, small acts of kindness go a long way and should be underestimated.
