Today we mark the International Day of Victims of Enforced Disappearances. As we mark this day we continue asking the Kenya Government to ratify International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance and to criminalize enforced disappearances.

Ms. Salma Hemed, the Executive Director of RWRC, spoke with BBC Swahili about the psychological effects on families of victims of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
