Today we’re celebrating our nurses and midwives as part of our very own Day of the Nurse and Midwife. I’d like to say a massive thank you to every single nurse and midwife at the NNUH.

Very privileged to present this PRIDE award to Stephanie Pease our Divisional Director for Midwifery for her leadership today. Thanks Steph for everything you are doing.

It’s our hospital fete today. We’re open until 3. I’m very excited to have already met Captain America (it’s amazing what our staff do in their spare time!). We also have a dancing poo!

Inspiring to be invited to hear today about the work the NNUH team has been doing to use HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) to treat our cancer patients. Amazing results and a fantastic team effort. All should be very proud.
