This Eswatini National Disaster Management Agency Proposal was developed by the NDC coordinator with help from@wrexbrown, experts from uneswa, CIC, municipalities, utility Cos, stakeholders & Clim Fin Advisor Commonwealth Dr.Sam Ogallah. UNIDO, NDC Partnership, UNDP & Commonwealth staff time helped develop it.

This morning at #COP27, I was pleased to welcome the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs of #Eswatini, Moses Villakati. I extended my congratulations to the Minister on the excellent work of Eswatini and receiving the #Africa #NDC Investment Award from @AfricaInvestor.

In our meeting, the Minister and I discussed the successes of the #CommonwealthCFAH adviser accessing #ClimateFinance for #Eswatini projects, digital trade and connectivity, investing in smarts cities, the #LivingLands charter and also @CommonwealthSec support in the future.

Pleased to meet with @UNHighRep, this morning during #COP27. We discussed how our two organisations, UN-OHRLLS and @CommonwealthSec, can implement our MoU and take action to assist our member countries, especially since the #Commonwealth is home to 33 #SmallStates and 25 #SIDs.
