Student-Athlete Advisory Committees on each campus athletic department exist to be the voice of & to represent student-athletes. Why is the Clemson SAAC silent on lost opportunities for black male athletes? Have they been silenced?

No college president or athletic director would every drop a track & field program if they had met or spent time with Rafer Johnson. One of the most special people I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with.

Clemson President James Clements informs Clemson Board he wants to stay as President rather than be the new ACC Commissioner. I guess he found out the ACC didn’t want a commissioner that eliminates opportunities for black male athletes.

In addition to eliminating academic & athletic opportunities for black males, apparently the white President & Athletic Director at Clemson don’t really care about women either if you listen to the video from female athletes at Clemson. #SaveClemsonXCTF

Why has it become an acceptable practice to eliminate opportunities for student-athletes to make up for mismanagement by Athletic Directors & universities? This should be an unacceptable solution and the responsible people held accountable.

Clemson President Jim Clements (Jim Clements) oversees the elimination of educational & athletic opportunities for more than 20% of Black male athletes & then is awarded a 𝒏𝒆𝒘 contract by the Board of Trustees. How can the state of South Carolina let this go on? Marlon Kimpson, Esq.

You would think the federal government would shut off any federal funding to a university, like Clemson University, that eliminates educational opportunities for Black males. #SaveClemsonXCTF

The best holiday gift male T&F/CC athletes at Clemson Athletics & CMU Athletics could receive would be to have their educational & athletic opportunities restored by the universities that took them away.

It refreshing to see that South Carolina’s elected officials, like Marlon Kimpson, Esq., are now questioning the decision by Clemson’s President to eliminate educational & athletic opportunities for male T&F athletes, that also eliminated over 20% of Clemson’s black male athletes.

Clemson gets an A+ for being able to talk out of both sides of their mouth. I doubt Dr. King would believe you are honoring him by eliminating over 20% of educational & athletic opportunities for black males in your athletic department.

So, Clemson University can pay two football coordinators a total of $4.16 million per year, but can’t afford to have a men’s T&F/XC team. I call BS. Clemson President & AD should be barred from the college educational system. usatoday.com/story/sports/n…

What is the purpose of NCAA.com? This weekend saw 5 collegiate records set in T&F & 20 collegiate men run under 4 minutes in the mile, yet the sport doesn't get 1 mention on the website. The NCAA should be supporting ALL of their student-athletes & sports.

.@ClemsonDRad tells Sports Illustrated: "Football allows us to have these other sports." He fails to tell Ross Dellenger that FB allows him to have his job, his exuberant salary & benefits package. Outside of his own, he doesn't appear to believe in opportunities. si.com/college/2021/0…

When you cut Clemson Track you lose legacy, unity, opportunities, and diversity. All of which the University works to pursue in their mission and vision. Only to move in the opposite direction with this decision. @ClemsonDRad Jim Clements #SaveClemsonXCTF

By eliminating men’s T&F and its educational opportunities for Black males, Clemson President & AD ensure there’ll be no “future Ralph Metcalf” coming out of their barely segregated athletic department & university.   spectrumnews1.com/wi/milwaukee/n…
