Another highlight from 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress: yesterday, an outstanding #science #policy #panel was organised by EYCN, with EuChemS Vice President @FlorisRutjes Frances Arnold from American Chemical Society and Helen Pain Royal Society of Chemistry

Had the absolute honor of meeting Frances Arnold yesterday at 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress. Total fanboy moment! Her beautiful keynote and insights into science policy and advising the US President were next-level inspiring ✨. Science over fiction, truth over lies. 🧪 #ECC9 EuChemS

If you're at #ECC9 today, run and grab lunch at noon and then come to Wicklow Room 3 for the EYCN session on science communication and policy, with Juliana Vidal, Julia Robinson and Manuel Souto 🎉 Please RT and share with friends and colleagues 🙏🏼

Prepping for this year's Science Summer Camp Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research is in full swing! Can't wait to host 20 curious young minds again and test out our new experiments with them! 🧪☀️ ...I really need a bigger office though 📚📦📦 #SciComm #Chemistry

This week is our science summer camp! Enthusiastic campers are led through a week of experiments and discussions, designed to ignite curiosity and cultivate a passion for scientific inquiry! Thanks to Sam Van Gele for organising!

The Comp@ss Internship Program Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research is ending🧭 We built this initiative from the ground up to allow students from the Global South to immerse themselves in our great research institute through a fully funded 6-month internship. So proud of the students and team! 🎉

It was such an honor to participate as a mentor in the Comp@ss program at #mpifkf! It was a pleasure having Mercy Chaparadza in the @SimonKrause39 group. Wishing all the Comp@ss students continued success! A big thank you to Sam Van Gele and the great Comp@ss team for organizing!

A month ago, we had the honor of having Francis Otieno visit us from Maseno University 🇰🇪, the PI of our Comp@ss student Titus Ekabat. Thank you for the great talk and wonderful visit! 🎉 If you want to read more about the program, check out this article: fkf.mpg.de/8350642/2024_0…

Congrats to our PhD Student Sam Van Gele for receiving the Poster Award at the #Catalysis Networking conference in Pforzheim last week!

Check out this piece about the Science Summer Camps for kids I organize at Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research. It brings me so much joy to see curiosity at work in young minds...Sometimes I think I learn more from the kids than they do from me. #scicomm #chemistry
