Thanks to the efforts of our lab members and NGO collaborators, GPS tag deployments across 2021 and 2022 are starting to paint a picture of the movements of nesting Loggerhead sea turtles in Cabo Verde 🐢🇨🇻 Each colour represents a turtle! #movementecology #seaturtles #tracking

A preliminary simulation of the movement patterns exhibited by a nesting loggerhead sea turtle, between nesting events, generated by a spatially explicit individual-based model!🐢💻 The turtle did manage to find its way back to its original nesting location! 😅
