When you have people on with lived experience - esp. #carers there's a tendency to try to make it about individual sad stories - this is the issue for us @caref_ll this is a societal system challenge not individualised hard luck stories.

Over five million unpaid carers across England, Scotland and Wales are now entitled to take unpaid leave. Campaigners say many struggle to hold a job and care for a loved one at the same time. Ruth Hannan from Care Full told 5 Live Breakfast that wider changes are needed.
