I feel strongly that CKM is a valid (sometimes optimal) tx option for kidney failure among the frail or seriously ill. I feel *even stronger* that complex patients and shared decision-making involving CKM are vulnerable to clinician bias related to ageism, racism, and ableism.

Inflexible + inconsistent hospital visitor restrictions cause anguish for patients/families and moral distress for clinicians. Nearly a year in and I still cannot cope with this aspect of the nightmare. Appreciate @releiter for his tireless alchemy of turning rage into advocacy.
