“One Somalia” is an artificial slogan, just like the country itself. Our European partners keep pushing this madness instead of admitting AUSSOM has nothing to do with British Somaliland. The only ones giving Mogadishu legitimacy are Puntland gov & they are being abused for it.

Mr. Majeerteen, in this dystopian map you forgot Djibouti or are they not Somali to you? This is exactly why Africa will make sure your people are managed until Jesus himself returns. The audacity to dream of expansion while you cannot even manage basic governance without ATMIS.

My sources inside Villa Somalia confirm the Somali government is being forced into this move by Ankara. What looks like a unilateral decision from Mogadishu is nothing more than Erdoğa securing his oil deal. I believe this will only impact Puntland and Jubaland region.

Mogadishu does not even have a crane, yet someone is fabricating reports for WB/IMF to call Mogadishu East Africa’s best ports. Give me a break. You have Berbera, Djibouti & Mombasa doing real lifting, and they want to crown Mogadishu based on smoke & mirrors. Ridiculous.

We appreciate the contribution, but Uganda is doing the heavy lifting while you eat grass and watch real soldiers fight. First you wanted us removed, and now you suddenly want to work with us. I love my South Somali brothers, the biggest dreamers in the world.

I respect the patriotism for your clan, but when clan leaders play games with security, the truth is exposed. You can post fake or uplifting videos, but in the end, the only region with true stability is Somaliland. Replaying the same drone footage does not make it a country.

The last # we had were around 53, some say 78, but the # of high-value targets that escaped is what’s truly shocking. Unfortunately, because this Gov keeps marginalizing local residents who could have helped security forces fight extremists, the situation is now out of control.

It’s past time to recognize the only stable region truly committed to security and the rule of law. The world must work with #Somaliland to secure the region and confront the extremists in Mogadishu who hide behind the false banner of Somaliweyn while spreading terrorism & chaos

This is what Somalis in Mogadishu try to show the world, but in reality, you see what we actually have to deal with. Just yesterday, an old man in the State House claimed “no bombings in Mogadishu for months,” a blatant lie, proven false without a doubt. More ATMIS now!!

Uganda is protecting Mogadishu, Lower Shabelle & Middle Shabelle because those areas fall under Sector One, our area of responsibility. Sector Two is Kenya’s 🇰🇪 responsibility. If you drink too much camel milk, you might think your country. No one trust Somalia, including Somali

Some social media personalities act as if they represent Somalia, claiming “if we cannot convince #Somaliland to unify then we must do anything necessary.” To my delusional brothers: you cannot even secure your own capital or visit another city without AUSSOM, yet you dream.

We just came out of another one of those distraction stunts Villa Somalia pulls whenever security collapse, and I’m honestly shocked to see that your entire government has finally accepted its position in the hierarchy. Swahili for all of you, we refused to speak Somali yaren

Samuel Nsubuga (@samuelnsubuga_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I can’t speak to US politics, but in Mogadishu or Somalia as a whole, we meet countless so-called leaders and sub leaders, none of them legitimate. The only one that actually carries itself like a government is the Republic of Somaliland. The rest are just under our protection.

When I informed my EU counterparts about the situation in the south, they couldn’t believe it. I told them that the so-called national army is made up of clan militiamen loyal to Hassan, and that the Jubaland administration has blocked their entry and engaged in clashes with them

Samuel Nsubuga (@samuelnsubuga_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Not only do we protect them, but we also must inspect them, for even they cannot be trusted. As third-party contractors for the UN/EU, we do not question the clear madness in this place. We have even tried to educate our brothers, but they prefer to live like animals in Mogadishu

You know this event is a joke when you have a Mogadishu representative struggling to govern 30 km without Uganda help talking about “Suez and Red Sea initiative”. With all due respect, where does Mogadishu come in Regards to Red Sea, Gulf of Aden or Suez? Might as well add Rwanda
