Our Year 13 leadership team led a fantastic series of assemblies this week for both Year 12 and Year 13. It was really well planned and delivered fantastically. #internationalwomensday

As part of our Life After College Programme, we took Year 12 to @edgehilluniversity today to look at university options. It was an enjoyable da, well done to Year 12 for their engagement in the sessions. #LifeAfterCollege

Yesterday, we took our A Level Historians to Bosworth to reenact the battle where Richard III was defeated by Henry Tudor in 1485. One of the many trips we offer with in college. #enrichment

Today we took our SCEAP students to the Cheshire Schools Academic Conference at Bishop Heber High. Some great sessions including talks from Oxford and Cambridge University.

Last our Sixth Form Performing Arts Ambassadors organised and participated in a fund raising Performing Arts Quiz and Entertainment evening. The evening was a really successful, well done to all involved. #Leadership #Enrichment

Over the last 2 weeks, we invited our Y11 students for an Enrichment Taster afternoon. Students selected 2 Pathways from our wide range during Period 4 and selected the option of either our Sixth From Quiz or Sporting Extravaganza during P5. Here are the winners of the quiz!

Velocity Racing had a great first day at the F1 in Schools UK national finals. The car was fast on track and the team have represented Sandbach High School and Sandbach College brilliantly.

As part of our Wednesday Enrichment Programme, today we have taken our Sixth Form to Ten Pin Bowling. This is Y13 final Enrichment afternoon, they have been fantastic over the last two years, setting the standard for engagement beyond the traditional curriculum.

Well done to our Year 11 students who gave a great account of themselves today playing our Sixth Form team. The event was played in great spirit. Sandbach High School Stoke City Community Trust

What an enjoyable afternoon where our Stoke City Football Programme students took on our Y11s in a friendly match at Sandbach United. Our Sixth Form won the game but Y11 put up a real good fight. We’d love to see a good number of those Y11 join our Stoke Programme next year.

Well done to our student leaders for organising a huge amount of awards during our final Year 13 assembly. Year 13 were greats sports, making our celebration morning a great event.

Today was our Year 13 celebration morning. A fantastic effort from the students with their film related fancy dress. Year 13 have been a great Year group and we wish them the best of luck in their future!

Mr Ford and Mr Abbotson voted Sixth Form’s “Biggest Bromance” alongside Ashton and Josh in the Year 13 leavers assembly. I wonder if Mr Abbotson knows the term ‘Bromance’?

Congratulations to all award winners at our Year 12 end of year assembly. The academic year has come to a close and we hope all students have an enjoyable and productive work experience next week Thus year has flown by but Year 12 have achieved a lot over the last 9 months.
