I'm excited to share that I have received a #F31 #NRSA award from @NINDSnews to continue my work in the Thomas Sanderson on mitochondrial dynamics in stroke!
Big congratulations to Garrett Fogo from Dr. Thomas Sanderson's lab for being awarded an F31 on "Investigating mitochondrial dynamics in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury using novel morphological analyses and computational modeling"! 🧠💻
Three research teams from Weil Institute for Critical Care Research were awarded funding from the Department of Defense for research on traumatic brain injury. Totaling $4.4 million, the grants support continued development of solutions to transform TBI care. Read more: michmed.org/YDJbB
Excited to share that I have received a Transition to Postdoc F99/K00 Fellowship from the NIA! This will support the conclusions of my work in the Thomas Sanderson as well as a transition to studying mitochondria in age-related neurodegenerative diseases
A big month at the Thomas Sanderson, PhD student Garrett Fogo received NoA for his F99/K00 to fund his pre- AND post-doctoral training. New Assistant Professor Joseph Wider landed a DoD grant. Today we received NoA for a NIH U44 grant. Lots of exciting studies to keep us busy!
Welcome aboard Dr Sanderson! Thomas Sanderson
The final bit of my PhD work from the Thomas Sanderson is now out in iScience! Agent-based modeling of neuronal mitochondrial dynamics using intrinsic variables of individual mitochondria: iScience cell.com/iscience/fullt…
