Recently, Alder Hey Children’s Charity received a £12,000 donation from Thumbs Up for Charlie, a charity which was created in memory of Charlie, a former patient at Alder Hey who sadly passed away after battling a brain tumour ☹️ THREAD/🧵

This will go towards funding the COMBAT project, which is a collaborative project between the University of Liverpool and Alder Hey looking at harms following surgery for children’s brain tumours 🏥🧠

Thumbs Up for Charlie donated a whopping £12,000 to our charity to fund the project, which will allow for more important research into brain tumour recovery 👏 Thank you 💙
