Does anyone here live in Singapore or know a bit about Singapore? I've got a stopover there next month and want to do some birding. Would love to find this bird, for example. Might find it at Kent Ridge Park. I also want to visit Sungei Buloh Wetlands. ebird.org/species/whclau…

From David Hunter on FB who provided this map: "Intermittent significant aurora expected." So, if you are lucky enough to have clear skies and are below the white line, go take a look.

The guys in the back are out of focus due to depth of field, but nice to get these three lined up in the late afernoon light. An Australian crake, a grey teal and a red-kneed dotterel. Mutton Cove Conservation Reserve.

This cute little dog was on the dock at North Arm - running around barking trying to get the dolphins in the water. The dolphins did not seem to care at all 😂 (I tried to get a photo of the dog with the dolphins but it just didn't happen.)

Okay, so I said that I didn't get a photo of the little doggo with a dolphin - but I do have this one. Not my best work but it's cute. And there's a cormorant in the picture too 😊

Two years ago, I was fortunate to see this eastern yellow wagtail (Motacilla tschutschensis) at St Kilda, SA. Super rare here, they are northern hemisphere birds & are only very occasionally seen in the southern part of Australia. So nice of this one to pop up not far from home!
