In 2-3 years, calling a product “AI-powered” will be as dull as saying it runs on software. AI will be another tool in the tech stack for building products. If it solves their problems, users will use (and maybe pay for) it. If not, no buzzword will save it.

Too much irrational craziness around Deepseek. As a community & industry, we should get back to building the first principles: - building compute infrastructure - building energy infrastructure - building data infrastructure - invest in r&d and support open science - turn

Ben Shapiro Why are they "enemies?" No one that works at DeepSeek is an enemy of mine. The fact that they love open-source makes me think I would gel with them quite well.

There is an average of 60-70 in-game ads during Super Bowl. How many of them will be AI-generated this year? My bet: ~3 (not counting ads for ai-powered products).

Thinking out loud. In a world where AI coding agents (Claude Code, Devin, Cursor, Reflection, Lovable, etc.) become 50x better than they are today, what becomes insanely easy, and what remains difficult in building a SaaS product? My current take. What becomes insanely easy? -

Thrilled to be revealing a glimpse into what I've been building with Kelsie over the last year! A key bottleneck on the path to superintelligence is understanding causal relationships. We plan to fix that at Causal Labs, starting with AI physics models to predict and control the

Where are the "product ML engineers" hanging out in NYC? Folks who can build ml solutions, have product taste, and get business priorities. Feels like unicorn profiles right now, but know many people are looking for this intersection.

We shipped an alpha version of the new Surya OCR model. No hype, just facts: - 90+ languages (focus on en, romance langs, zh, ar, ja, ko) - LaTeX and formatting - Char/word/line bboxes - ~500M non-embed params - 10-20 pages/s

High-quality, openly licensed data is essential for training ethical and performant language models, but much of it is locked away in PDFs. We're honored that our open-source parser (Marker) was used to support the open data ecosystem!
