Your mistakes don't define who you are. It's what you do after you have made the mistakes that makes all the difference. Every mistake you make is a learning experience. They don't make you less capable. But it's how you correct them or learn from them that defines you.

One moment there's nothing, the next... a heartbeat. As a vertebrate embryo grows, its heart tissue starts to pulse well before it's actually needed. But how does the developing heart actually co-ordinate that very first beat?

ARE METABOLIC ENZYMES ON CHROMATIN? Yes, they are ⤵️! We optimized a chromatin enrichment protocol to improve the extraction of chromatin-bound proteins (chromatome) and applied it to > 140 samples, including cancer cell lines and healthy epithelia from 10 different tissues. 🧵

Words make a difference. Whether I'm sending an email to students, staff, or faculty, I start with "Dear Colleagues" No matter what our education background, titles, or job duties, we are all colleagues and should treat each other with the respect inherent in that word.

The phrase ‘metastasis accounts for 90% of cancer deaths’ is one of the most widely used in cancer research, yet it is overly simplistic & imprecise. Here we dig deeper into the events leading to cancer mortality nature.com/articles/s4156… 1/2

Intelligence isn't the ability to remember and repeat, like they teach you in school. It is the ability to learn from experience, solve problems, and use our knowledge to adapt to new situations.

Sharing this for twitterless (X-less?) Rohit Chandwani - a great clinical dive into differences between KRAS G12D/V and G12R mutations. Mirrors clear differences we see in mice. Happy we could contribute a small part to this work. G12R is an odd duck... sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
