I'm usually not too emotional about paper acceptances, but this one justifies it. 🥹 It doesn't feel real, but PepPrCLIP is now published at Science Advances! Let me tell you its story. 📕 📜: science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… 💻: huggingface.co/ubiquitx/peppr… PepPrCLIP (🌶️📎) began as

Microsoft Research's Sarah Alamdari was speaking at Applied Machine Learning Days in Lausanne today. Good timing to showcase how their team was using our lab to validate their new protein design model, EvoDiff 💡🧬 More details below!

Use reward-guided generation to steer the proteins generated from EvoDiff! Masatoshi Uehara Xingyu Su Yulai Zhao Xiner Li Shuiwang Ji Aviv Regev Sergey Levine Tommaso Biancalani

Small proteins can be more complex than they look! We know proteins fluctuate between different conformations- but how much? How does it vary protein to protein? Can highly stable domains have low stability segments? Állan Ferrari experimentally tested >5,000 domains to find out!

The final version of our work on enabling protein-function annotation on new, unseen functions with ProtNote is now published, with code and models available! 📰 doi.org/10.1093/bioinf… 💻 github.com/microsoft/prot… with Samir Char, Nate Corley, Sarah Alamdari, Kevin K. Yang 楊凱筌

Interested in our mission Microsoft Research to make DFT more accurate and push what’s possible in quantum chemistry? Do you want to directly contribute?
