Useful meeting with new Chief Exec of East Lothian Council - news and information Laurence Rockey. Took him on a tour of Musselburgh and discussed the flood scheme, the Brunton Theatre, anti-social behaviour, and how to make a brighter future for the Honest Toun.

Great to meet with some American exchange students from the International Educational Exchange, in Holyrood to discuss Scottish politics and Scottish Labour. Was great to hear such engaged questions and have such an in-depth discussion.

Spent the afternoon with the Scottish Seabird Centre cleaning up Fisherrow beach. The wet wipes are disgusting - and a sure indicator sewage is ending up in Scottish waters. We need to monitor this better - and then stop the sewage!
