All these patriots fighting to protect their country are going to be the first to sign up when we hit WW3 right? Right?

This was in Great Yarmouth. The police HAS to stop hiring people who are there just for the power trip and to enjoy violence against others.

Amazing reporting from Tom Witherow: he tracked down the person who started the rumours that started these riots. She's a mother of three in her fifties who lives in a £1.5m house in Cheshire: thetimes.com/uk/crime/artic…

You see this, this is what happens in real life. The bots can't show up on the streets. On the right there (yeah the far right) are the 6 nazis who turned up to cause mayhem. Everyone else is there to stop them. This is England.

Tonight it was rumoured that thugs were going to attack a hotel in Norwich that houses Asylum Seekers and Refugees and Norwich TURNED UP. We want people to know we are not a city of hate and racism and division. #ThisIsWhatCommunityLooksLike

THIS. Those who gathered tonight did so to show that we can mobilise large numbers of people quickly, that we don’t want a country that is hate filled and violent and most importantly that people of colour DO have people willing to stand up for them and keep them safe.

Today the National Stand Up to Racism gatherings in Norwich coincided with a Student’s against Tyranny (SAT) thing about trans men. The SAT reporting on today is WILD and an excellent study of the mind gymnastics people do to stay hateful. Genuinely fascinating.

And if anyone from SAT comes across my tweets about their ridiculous gathering in Norwich today, you can 100% debate women’s safety without being transphobic. I know doing something without hate is absurd to you but it’s true. The issue is male violence not trans people.

IMAGINE being this privileged that you call for a war journalist, a twenty something year old, to have their reporting pulled. Imagine being this TONE DEAF. This image, this story, will be in a genocide museum one day.

The thing that gets me about this story is just how many men were willing to do this in a small area of France. This is why we say don’t “not all men us” because it’s an absolute load of you.

One thing that's made my blood boil in the Pelicot trial is the part medical misogyny played in allowing the horrors to go on. Gisele went to Drs about gynae issues, memory loss, etc and it was all dismissed as female hysteria or female troubles to just learn to live with.

Nothing like the rage of being told you were not in to collect a parcel when you’ve been in all day with a direct view of the front door and no one has been. DPD are the worst.
