Moving care from hospital to community could make a real difference esp. oyoguhito older people living with frailty. Wes Streeting - turn words into action. Urgent community response and hospital@home services are an excellent start, but need expansion and support. Shelagh O'Riordan

We urge MPs to consider the needs of older people before the third reading of the #AssistedDyingBill on Friday. We are profoundly concerned by the exclusion of those specialising in older people’s healthcare in the drafting of the bill. buff.ly/I7No4vt

Thanks from me too for the invitation, and for casting light on some shocking statistics. Approx 90%of people with type 1 diabetes (T1DM) have continuous glucose monitoring. How many aged 75 or over? Just 54%. And "closed loop" systems? 63% children, less than 1% older people.
