I had a visitor on my back steps this AM. It stretched a couple of times and then settled down. Later it did some impressive twisting while performing advanced grooming.

Milkweed started growing along our seasonal pond (aka large puddle) a few years ago. This is the first caterpillar I have seen. It seems to be alone.

I ran 12 miles today. I am sitting on the couch icing my feet and my Garmin watch tells me: "Time to get up and move."

Haven't heard our backyard coyotes in awhile but they were out tonight!

Congrats to all who ran in Harborside Half Marathon today! I hit a wall so didn't make my time goal but: 1. I was able to finish 2. It was my first half, so it was a PR. I ran with a college friend and we each had family cheering us on! Great day! (need ice and ibuprofen now)
