This morning, I’m trying to figure out as to what could possibly be the reason/s behind Justice Datta’s remarks? Failed. Can you tell ?

Adv. M Like most self claimed nationalists, he probably believes he is doing his bit for the country by not criticing the govt he likes or not asking uncomfortable questions. It is possible that he doesn’t understand the role of opposition in a democracy is to hold Govt to account.

Adv. M Dipankar Datta clearly isn’t aware of the law Or Fundamental Rights: It’s not a judge’s job to decide who’s a “true Indian.” Courts must uphold the Constitution, NOT Police Identity.

Breaking now: Satyapal Malik has passed away. The senior politician and governor found himself in an eye of a storm for taking on the Modi govt. He was never afraid of speaking his mind in a long political journey of many twists and turns. RIP. Om Shanti.

Rajdeep Sardesai 🕊️ On this day, August 5, Article 370 was abrogated — a historic turning point for Jammu & Kashmir. Today, we also bid farewell to Satyapal Malik, the last Governor of J&K before its reorganization. History remembers moments. The nation remembers those who witnessed them. Om
