Fantastic to be out on the Henry Prince Estate with Denise Paul and Cllr Sarmila Varatharaj. Labour vote strong here for local boy Sadiq Khan and Leonie Cooper AM. Sadiq’s promises to build 40,000 new homes and freeze travel fares are very popular with local residents!

The Mayoral election is a close two-horse race. Any vote other than for Sadiq Khan puts free school meals at risk. Make your plan to vote today.👇 iwillvote.org.uk

Fantastic speech tonight by my colleague Cllr Sarmila Varatharaj. Ahead of International Women’s Day Sarmilla set out Wandsworth Council top priority of tackling violence against women and girls and reducing gender inequality. Lots of work to do but we are on our way 🌹🌹

The UK Labour government have applied sanctions against Sri Lankan perpetrators. This is the first step in the UK towards Justice for the Genocide of Tamils in Sri Lanka. I was at the UN Human Rights Council with British Tamils Forum (BTF) again at the 58th session.

Last night, BTF & Tamils for Labour (T4L) spoke with The Secretary of State Wes Streeting The Labour Party Gala Dinner. He spoke on #NHS reforms incl shorter waits, more GPs & increase in funding. Wes has also stood with #Tamils United Nations Geneva seeking justice for #genocide in #SriLanka in the past.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to the launch night of our Giant Dolls' House Project 'Voices of Wandsworth' installation at BatterseaArtsCentre last night - and, of course, to the 200 plus residents who created this amazing body of art exploring what home, community, and sanctuary mean.
