Local anger over the Hendon Hub development was made clear at a committee meeting this week as two new applications on the project site were approved. The physical scale of the development is overwhelming and the seven-storey structure are out of character for the vicinity

Inside Mill Hill and Edgware Barnet Council & Middlesex University's #HendonHub 3 applications voted through without any changes in the number, size & density of the buildings planned other than returning part of Hendon Library. The Hub has become a popular campaign issue over the last 3 years.

Both Cllr Joshua Conway and I welcome Barnet Labour's belated recognition that their proposal for the Hendon Hub development (that they gave planning permission to, despite our opposition) does not work and is widely opposed. 1/2

Whilst this indefinite delay is welcomed, we wait to hear what the future holds for Hendon and Labour's ideas for the future of the development. 2/2
