The Warhawks finished the tournament on a positive note with an 8-7 win over the 15U Elite Baseball Diamond Dawgs. Garrett Brust (PPS ‘23) starred pitching 4 innings, giving up 2 ERs on just 2 Hits. Ckarlos Tumba (FDHS - ‘22) hit a 2-Run HR, while Joe Knight (SHS - ‘23) was 2-3.

Ashley Ridge H.S. has a good one in SS Grant Austin (2022). This kid is a special talent. Finished this weekend as the team’s top hitter (4 Hits, 3RBI) and pitcher (3 2/3IP, 0ER, 5K). Oh yeah, he’s also a wiz with the glove at SS!

Outstanding Game 1 pitching performances today for Tyler Weckesser (PPS - 2023) and Jonathan Simoneau (ARHS - 2022) in the USSSA SC Tournament of Champions. The two combined on a 3 hit shutout in the Warhawks 1-0 victory.

Took the L (7-2) in Game 3, but Sam Rowland (PPS 2023) definitely earned a shoutout for hurling an outstanding 4 1/3 scoreless innings in relief.
