The last day of Term 2. As Santa chased a turkey through roll call, carols were sung on Centre Court. Thank you, Ridgeway, for a great day. We hope our staff, students and families enjoy a well-deserved break.

Day 1 of the Year 8 Battlefields visit. Sun cream and water stops have kept us going through a thought provoking tour of the Belgian Western Front

Battlefields Day 1: Trenches, soldier graffiti from 1916, the largest British cemetery on the Western Front, the field station where John McRae worked and wrote, Langemark German cemetery. It's been a busy but brilliant day!

Y8 Battlefields visit Day 2. A spectacular visit to Vimy Ridge made all the more poingnat by visiting on Canada Day. Then to see the work of the Commonwealth War Graves at their visitor centre and think about the principles and process of commemoration.
