Southgate School netball tournament took place at Condover Hall this weekend. The girls displayed fantastic skills, sportsmanship, kindness, and dedication. They improved so much over the weekend. Thank you so much to Ms Roper and Ms Marden for all their hard work.

On Friday 9th May we said our official goodbyes to Year 13 students on Year 13 Leavers' Day.  We are so very proud of the well-rounded young adults they have become during heir time in Sixth Form and wish them all the best for their A-levels and their futures beyond.

Congratulations to our talented Year 7/8 football team who played at the Chelsea training ground for the Middlesex Cup Final. We are beyond proud that they came second and displayed excellent skills and teamwork.

Our Year 9 and 10 girls represented Enfield in the London youth Games futsal tournament. They came 4th out of 20 boroughs in London. We are so proud of every pupil who participated 👏

🏃 We are thrilled to share some amazing news with you regarding our School Run Championship Race 🏃‍♂️ ROBIN GREENWOOD ran the 1 mile course in 5:29 and broke the school record of 5:33. JAGNA FALKOWSKA ran the course in 6:21 and broke the school record of 6:25

The Sixth Form Team ran a trip to the University of Cambridge Open Day on Thursday 10th July for our aspiring Oxbridge candidates. The trip was a wonderful day for students who have already begun their applications.

The Sixth Form Student Leadership Team and a selection of Year 12 students organised a fundraising football match between Year 12 students and staff/ex-students on Wednesday 9th July. The event was a huge success raising over £350 for our Sixth Form Facilities Fund

We took a lovely group of year 7 and 8 girls to the Enfield Love your park sports 🏏 festival for girls. They took part in a variety of sports and the weather was great for it! ☀️ ☀️

1/ Yesterday evening I went to the retirement do for this legend, Mr Martin Lavelle (Headteacher Southgate School) He was the first Headteacher to take a punt on me as a senior leader back in 2012 at Whitefield (now Clarion).

We are proud of 720 students that took part in sports day. Students played dodgeball, competed in nerf throw, tug of war, basketball free throw, Boccia, nerf throw, & standing long jump. A huge congratulations to all the competitors. The winners are: 7B - 1st 8D - 1st 9H - 1st
