I’m looking forward to being one of the panellists on ABC’s Q+A on Monday night, which includes being alongside a physicist as accomplished as Brian Greene. The subject is future tech which gives me a chance to talk about some of the amazing capabilities just around the corner.

Parliament has been awash with scientists this week for #ScienceMeetsParliament. I caught up with the ABC’s Nate Byrne to talk about the importance of science to the nation in a live cross from Parliament House, where he was also speaking to the #SuperstarsofSTEM.

I’m looking forward to hearing Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Australia's first female astronaut, speak to Adam Shirley just after 7am tomorrow on ABC Canberra. You can also hear her next week at an event I’m leading to showcase STEM careers in government -> rb.gy/5613rj

I look forward to meeting the science and research community and MPs tonight at the 25th Science Meets Parliament gathering. #SMP2025 is excellent opportunity to explain the benefit of work across the science and research sector. Congratulations to Science & Technology Australia
