What a start with the one and only Jungmann Lab !!

Jungmann Lab François Marquier Now time for Erdinc Sezgin on Understanding cell-cell interactions using advanced imaging, synthetic biology and chemical biology tools

VISION is now published in J Cell Science ! An easy-to-use software for biophysical image analysis designed by @luca_andronico & Florian Weber Ratiometric, multiparametric analysis+custom math operations on multi channels+cell segmentation+executable GUI! doi.org/10.1242/jcs.26…

New PI born! Great times ahead Falk Schneider ! Very excited to see you in such a great place with such fantastic colleagues.. it is going to be a fun journey ;)

.@BioSciFLo, Erdinc Sezgin, @luca_andronico and colleagues Karolinska Institutet SciLifeLab present VISION, an open-source software for automated multi-dimensional image analysis of cellular biophysics. #OpenAccess #ReadandPublish #JCSImagingSI journals.biologists.com/jcs/article/13…

I'll talk about the mechanisms of selective lipid transport. There will also be two unpublished goodies: Lipid superresolution imaging (collaboration with Alf Honigmann) and Lipid CLEM (collaboration with Ori Avinoam). Looking forward to seeing you all!

Thank you to Erdinc Sezgin Erdinc Sezgin for sharing his experience of fee-free #OA publishing J Cell Science via our #ReadAndPublishagreement with Karolinska Institutet KIB Read Erdinc’s paper bit.ly/3OslNyZ Is your institution participating? bit.ly/3O7BxGi

New PI born 🎁 In case you're one of the few who doesn't know Pablo Carravilla, he is starting his lab in Bilbao! Having Pablo in the lab as a postdoc was a true privilege! Vividly remembering the first time we discussed this (Fig1a) and today when he is ready to be a leader (Fig1b)

New paper out💥 in Nano Letters High throughput single particle profiler with simple confocal imaging. We used this new method to study protein-lipid interactions, drug membrane interactions and biophysics of nanoscale particles from human donors: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

🔥🔬"Measuring plasma membrane fluidity using confocal microscopy" in Nature Protocols🔬🔥 doi.org/10.1038/s41596… Thanks to the authors for the detailed protocol! Pablo Carravilla Jan Schlegel Ellen Sjule Franziska Ragaller Florian Weber Cenk Gurdap Taras Sych Erdinc Sezgin
