Lots of engaging discussion at this morning’s Council strategy session 🗣️Learning about perceptions of the what we do and thinking about the tensions for our strategy. We managed to grab a little bit of fresh air in the sun over lunchtime! ☀️Girlguiding Scotland

Council members spent the afternoon receiving the important presentation on the annual report and accounts for 2023 from the board of trustees, and hearing about the future plans for Girlguiding. They play an important representative role on behalf of our membership. Now home! 🚆

What a privilege to be invited to the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award celebration event at Holyroodhouse Palace Gardens today. We enjoyed meeting the many young members who have worked hard and gained this award. Congratulations to them all!

Just back from a great weekend with 60 young members from across Scotland at Camp CEO. Great time had by all. Many new skills learned and friendships formed.

The Scottish Chief Commissioner Team spent the day with some inspirational ladies today at the County Commissioner Day at Scottish HQ. Most of the lead volunteers for each Scottish County were there along with our fab staff team. We had fun and learned loads. Girlguiding Scotland

Then Girlguiding East Lothian members met for their annual review to celebrate & reflect on a range of activities of 2024 & look forward to 2025. Lots of long service awards presented and Sarah was delighted to present a 30-yr award to Suzie Winter & 40-yr award to Barbara Leslie 🌟 3/3
