Day 1 of Scottish Space School was a roaring success! Our guests from NASA judged the pupils' rockets at a wonderfully sunny Glasgow Green, and we think we may have some future rocket science engineers in the making. Can't wait for Day 2!

Scottish Space School Day 2 is about to kick off! Today we will hear from inspiring NASA colleagues Bill McArthur and Charles Lloyd, and take part in activities from Civil and Environmental Engineering and Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management.

Can't believe we are half way through the week already! All week our attendees are designing a product to improve life in space and will be judged by our panel of NASA guests on Friday. We are so impressed by this future generation of engineers and can't wait to see their ideas.

Day 3 there was fierce competition in the mini rover competition with some excellent designs! We ended with over 400 people joining us last night for the Evening with NASA public lecture last night with astronauts William McArthur and Michael Baker.

We are very proud of Amber (new S6) who is currently enjoying Scottish Space School this week at the University of Strathclyde. Amber had the privilege of meeting up with NASA astronauts Mike Baker and William McArthur.

Last day of Scottish Space School 2023! So sad but what a week we have had! Yesterday we drove miniature Mars Rovers and learnt about planetary defence, and heard two inspirational talks from NASA colleagues Michael Baker and Nikki Lloyd.

And that's a wrap! Thank you to all who took part in Scottish Space School 2023 and to all those who made it possible. We definitely have the next generation of world class engineers ready to make the world a better place!🛰️🚀💡
