The Commanders have a good problem to have on offense. A lot of mouths to feed this season. Kliff Kingsbury said, “I’ve never had a great players that doesn’t want the ball…you would rather have really good players cussing you out than bad players cussing you out.”

Terry McLaurin is not here today for Commanders OTA’s. He clearly wants that contract extension, but this is also voluntary. Big deal or not a big deal?

.Scott Abraham started his question to Dan Quinn about how "last year you were the hunters..." Quinn then stopped him, anticipating what would be said next and said simply, "We're always the hunters."

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn is already in mid-season form. Hunters vs. the Hunted I tried to ask that question today and DQ pounced. He is setting the tone early telling me, "we are always the hunters...we've got a lot to prove."

New Commanders WR Deebo Samuel is already impressed with Jayden Daniels. Deebo said, "just being here for two or three months now, I feel like the man can make every throw. He's comfortable. He knows what's going on. He knows where the ball needs to go. I think he's very smart."

It was great to see all the familiar faces at Commanders OTA's. These guys are fired up to be back on the field. Frankie Luvu said, "the energy is up, the vibe is up...find that brotherhood again and turn it up even more."

Commanders fans, Here is your starting quarterback Jayden Daniels throwing the football during today's OTA session. It might be the best :47 seconds of your week. You're welcome.

I'm excited about the potential of Jaylin Lane here in Washington. I think he is going to find a role in his rookie season with the Commanders. The dude is an athlete.

Commanders team president Mark Clouse was at OTA's today. He has been very visible since joining the franchise. Great to see.

Deebo Samuel! Deebo Samuel! The wideout proudly wearing the burgundy and gold today. He is focused on a bounce back season in Washington.

The popularity of Jayden Daniels has skyrocketed. Through it all, he's remained grounded. Jayden said, “I’ve never been the type of individual that I could say looks for fame. I am a very introverted individual so I just go out there and live my life how I live it."

Keep your eye on Commanders rookie RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Washington drafted him for a reason. They like his skill set. Can he find a role in a crowded Commanders backfield?

No decision has been made on Alex Ovechkin’s future following the 2025-26 NHL season.   An email was sent from an individual with the corporate sales department that mistakenly alluded to next year being Alex Ovechkin’s final year.

Bowie native Antonio Coleman is hoping to earn his spot on Olympic flag football team. Despite NFL players being allowed to play, Antonio is ready to compete. He told me, "I'd love to go out there & compete against some NFL guys to represent our country. Let the best man win."
