The Government's disability benefit cuts will affect 700,000 families who are already in poverty as well as driving another 250,000 people below the poverty line. Labour are CHOOSING to target nearly 1 million disabled people instead of taxing the super-rich fairly.

The DWP have responded to my FOI request regarding ages of PIP claimants (and the proposed new 4 point rule). I've submitted a similar FOI re ESA and LCWRA claimants, ages and numbers not meeting the 4 point PIP rule. I'm still awaiting the DWP response re ESA and LCWRA.

Great work by Sharonimo55 - Her FOI response shows where the planned amendment to PIP eligibility criteria - the requirement 4 points on one of the daily living criteria - will hit the hardest. Not the youngest, but the oldest claimants, many just under pension age.
