Slightly behind on some WW2TV Paul Woodadge viewing… tonight was myth busting Jelly Beach; absolutely superb, loved the mythological connection. Bravo - Stephen Fisher; top work as usual. He has also written a superb book on Sword Beach. Arguably the only resource you’ll need on the subject.

Going book hunting with Alexandra Churchill ✌🏼⭐️⭐️ takes a different form nowadays, because we end up hunting our own books to sign them! You’ll find some more guérilla signed books in Windsor.

Stephen Fisher just finished this. It was brilliant. It’ll be coming with me to Normandy this summer! Can’t wait for the Walcheren & Gold follow ups!

Ok, everyone is making D-Day book recommendations. FWIW these are my recommendations. Each one I think is a tour de force. My thanks to Dr Peter Caddick-Adams #StandwithUkraine Giles Milton Nick Hewitt ⚓️🇺🇦🇹🇼 and Stephen Fisher. I am also fortunate that the authors kindly signed their books for me.
