Venom from the Noble False Widow spider is 230 times more potent than species native to Ireland, a new study has found. rte.ie/news/2022/0829…

The study also found that the False Widow spider can also make calculated decisions on whether to attack large or small prey depending on how much venom is left in their venom glands. jrnl.ie/5851911t
