We're winding down our presense in this space. If you want to contact us or have something urgent we're active over at the new space.

Huge thank you to everyone who reached out to help save the streetcar! It survived another year. “As-is” isn’t the end game here. Building the CCC and improving SLUS performance still need to happen. theurbanist.org/2024/11/18/cou…

This is called “end point fallacy” and is common in facile analysis of transportation plans. “Why would I want to go from <end of the line> to <other end of the line>?” Most people don’t, but will use the many other trip pairs along the way all the time.

Remember when SDOT put the first official citywide Link plan, ever, in the TMP? Last year feels like a long time ago. Note: We’re winding down our presence here and will be re-posting some old stuff. We’re active elsewhere.

This is a map of housing prices, which is also a map of unmet housing demand. The people who enable this don’t deserve to be in power.

Historic repost: Back in 2022 we pushed for a new law that gives cities the ability to supercharge Link expansion…. and won! We’re winding down our presence here. Find us over at the place that rhymes with shoo schmy.

Reminder, Sound Transit - 🚆 🚈 🚍 never even tried to study building on 5th in that gap you see in the pic. Killing that option without even looking at mitigation potential - then spending years arguing over lesser/more expensive plans is an indictment of our whole political process.

Serious question for Washington Non-Profit, Government, and Politician/Representative accounts. Considering who this site is owned by and what they use it for, why do you continue to post here?

Follow on question: Is posting here consistent with your values? Is it consistent with your internal policies as they relate to your values?

Sound Transit’s search for a new CEO needs to be transparent. This is a consequential job and the region can’t afford a wrong move like letting the board self-deal. Beyond that, Dow Constantine simply has not been an advocate for riders since ST3 passed. theurbanist.org/2025/02/15/dow…

Whoa…. We agree with the Seattle Times Editorial Board about something related to Sound Transit. Historic moment, this. seattletimes.com/opinion/editor…
