Good news from Luxembourg 🇱🇺 Spoke with PM Luc Frieden about his plan to rapidly increase investment in defence to 2% of GDP. Such an important move as we gear up for the #NATOsummit in The Hague! We all need to invest more in our shared security.

Excellent to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara today as we prepare the #NATOSummit next month to keep the Alliance strong. Türkiye 🇹🇷 is a staunch and capable Ally. We also discussed Ukraine, where there is a real window of opportunity for progress towards peace.


Important to catch up with Andrii Sybiha 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 Ukraine can count on NATO’s continued support as it works towards a just and lasting peace.





Just had a call with Nicușor Dan to congratulate him on his election win. We have important work ahead to ensure our shared security through a strong NATO. Looking forward to working together, including in the run up to the #NATOSummit in The Hague!
