(2/2) And it's still 3D printing related! I made a jig to wet mold the leather to fit the comb perfectly. Modeled up in Tinkercad, and printed on my SeeMeCNC Artemis with Atomic Filament PETG. There was a lot of pressure between those bolts and the filament held up! #HotMakes

It freaking prints! The part cooling fans aren’t working though. Going old school with painters tape and glue stick. 0.6mm Revo nozzle is overkill for this printer.

Thanks to Tim Abraham for the troubleshooting help flashing the firmware on this. I replaced the mini 12864 LCD with a V0.2 OLED display so I could eliminate the ribbon cables and bulky case. I modified my lcd mount to fit in the logo slot of the Eris and the Pi clips on back.

Almost done with my SeeMeCNC Eris Mod project.. Difficult to design around some of the injection molded parts due to the draft angles they have etc... But I think I am mostly pleased with the adjustments. Cant wait to start building it.. Few more test prints to go.

David Shorey SeeMeCNC Fillamentum.com David Shorey that is pretty cool, where can I read more about how to do this sort of thing. It would be a great technique to learn for my daughter's cosplay costumes
