Our latest fabric collection has been created by Peruvian weaving communities introduced to us by Editor Polly Leonard from @selvedgemag. From footstools to chairs to snugglers, here's four favourites from the collection. Tell us which one is your favourite #SofasAndStuff

The artisans who wove the fabric for our Peruvian Collection live around the Sacred Valley near the city of Cusco, once capital of the Inca Empire. Cusco is high up above sea level - but at what altitude? (Clue, it's almost 68 Olympic-sized swimming pools!) #SofasAndStuff

Mahuaypampa weavers will often place multiple designs next to each other in order to build up the pattern section in their blankets. The main design of Mahuaypampa is mayu qenqo, which is said to represent what? #SofasAndStuff

Experts in all things textiles, @selvedgemag have been instrumental in introducing us to the weaving communities in Peru. They told us that as well as back strap weaving, there's one other textile construction technique is Peru famous for. Do you know what it is? #SofasAndStuff

#DidYouKnow Peru's national dish is called Ceviche? It's usually served with side dishes that include red onions, sweet potato, cooked bananas, avocado and lettuce. Yum! But what is the main ingredient? Tag a general knowledge genius who might know the answer #SofasAndStuff

We're in awe of the intricate detail that goes into creating this beautiful cloth. The production process from field to fabric is lengthy - it takes a day just to set up the loom. How many days do you think it takes to produce each 2.5m length of 50cm cloth? #SofasAndStuff

Just look at that detail! These hand spun, naturally dyed fibres from seven Peruvian communities have been carefully upholstered on a selection of our furniture. How many metres of fabric do you think were used on the sixty unique pieces? #SofasAndStuff

The fabrics woven for the Peruvian Collection uses minimal technology; everything is hand spun using a drop spindle & then woven on a backstrap loom. #TrueOrFalse: It takes longer to weave yarn into cloth than it does to turn fibre into piled yarn for weaving #SofasAndStuff

Two types of wool are used by the weavers to create these stunning fabrics & natural dyes derived from local plants & minerals are used to create the vibrant colours. Wool from which two animals are used to spin and weave materials into these beautiful fabrics? #SofasAndStuff

After all the chatting this evening, it's almost time for us to grab ourselves a nice refreshing Inca Kola! This super sweet soda is a favourite amongst Peruvians & its flavour has been described as a cross between bubblegum and cream soda...but what colour is it? #SofasAndStuff
