Space can unite nations like few other things can. Today, I joined President José Raúl Mulino and the people of Panama to unveil NASA's "Ojos en el Espacio" exhibit at Biomuseo—a tribute to our shared history and a symbol of partnership in this golden age of space exploration.

Liftoff, Blue Ghost! Congrats to Firefly Aerospace & SpaceX on a successful launch. As part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative, it will deliver 10 NASA instruments to the Moon—preparing us for future human missions to the lunar surface.

Congratulations to Blue Origin on the first successful test flight of New Glenn. Together and in the spirit of John Glenn, NASA and our commercial partners are pushing the boundaries of exploration and reaching new heights—to the Moon, Mars, and beyond!

Congrats to SpaceX on Starship’s seventh test flight and the second successful booster catch. Spaceflight is not easy. It’s anything but routine. That’s why these tests are so important—each one bringing us closer on our path to the Moon and onward to Mars through #Artemis.

In this golden era of space exploration, a new generation of thinkers and leaders will light the way. This new partnership empowers our #Artemis Generation—opening doors for the brilliant researchers, faculty, and students who make Florida shine.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the heroic firefighters who protected NASA JPL from the Eaton Fire—stopping the flames at our lab’s doorstep. Amid so much devastation in recent days, my heart is with our NASA family and everyone in California.

My letter to the next NASA Administrator:

Congratulations to Firefly Aerospace for the 2nd successful lunar landing for a US commercial spacecraft. The CLPS program is to utilize the ingenuity of the private sector to explore the moon with “scouts” in parallel with NASA. Onward to the moon!

Congratulations to NASA for being voted the best place to work in the Federal Govt in 2024! (13 years in a row.) The NASA team that I call wizzards are quite deserving of this honor.

I was happy to accept Dr. Francis Collins’ invite to join the Stand Up for Science rally to warn about savaging science in the U.S. budget.

Now that Butch and Suni are home, I thank the good Lord and the people of NASA for all of their hard work, the testing and retesting to find out why the jets were misfiring. At the end of the day the vote was unanimous to bring them back on Dragon. Thank you.
