There are several upcoming opportunities to engage in the Long Island City Neighborhood Planning Process (OneLIC). CB1, Queens and Queens Community Board 2 will host in-person and virtual meetings over the next few weeks before they vote on the plan.

Our Greenpoint Community Advocate Kelly, @sengonzalezny’s team and reps from legal services group Communities Resist will be at the Greenpoint Library next Thursday, June 12 from 10am-1pm. Stop by to get assistance with housing issues or discuss any local item we can help with.

The Robert Brooks Blueprint for Justice & Reform centers justice, rehabilitation, safety, and accountability. The Legislature must not end the session without action. I stand with NYS BPHA Legislative Caucus and my colleagues in demanding change. #AgencyandAction

Several unions representing thousands of workers in NYC including NYSNA, 32BJ SEIU /// #BuildingJustice 🧹✊🏽, 1199SEIU💫 and more are rallying at City Hall this afternoon at 2:30 in solidarity with demonstrators in Los Angeles and to call for the release of David Huerta, president of SEIU California.

Wi-Fi isn't a luxury. It's a necessity ➡️ gothamist.com/news/many-nyc-… Thank you NY State Senator Kristen Gonzalez and Karines Reyes, R.N. for championing S8026/A1755, to ensure that everyone in shelter has a right to Wi-Fi. #WiFi4Homeless

Our young people will bear the greatest consequences of inaction on regulating AI. That’s why we must pass the NY AI Act and RAISE Act before the legislative session ends. Thank you, Encode AI & Design It For Us for joining us today to advocate for these bills. Let’s get it done!
