Unbelievable. Latest update from the nonpartisan budget office says the Senate Republican bill now cuts nearly $1 TRILLION from Medicaid.

The bill Senate Republicans just advanced cuts an estimated $930 billion from Medicaid. It will take away health care from working people and low-income Americans in order to give special tax treatment to billionaires and corporations.

Yikes! The Senate bill borrows almost $1 Trillion more than the House bill and reportedly explodes the cost to $3.9 Trillion! And it STILL cuts Medicaid by almost $1 Trillion!

The GOP’s fiscally irresponsible bill will force taxpayers to shell out $690 Billion just to cover debt interest payments while cutting critical services & shortchanging working Americans.

Democrats want to protect Medicaid, Republicans are voting to cut $1 TRILLION from Medicaid. Experts say the GOP budget puts 579 nursing homes nationwide at risk of closure. My amendment would prevent Medicaid cuts that lead to nursing home closures. Republicans rejected it.
