Today marked my 250th face-to-face meeting with Ohioans since I took office this January.   Each visit helps me bring Ohio’s voice to the Senate. It’s an honor to keep putting Ohio first and strive to serve our nearly 11.9 million neighbors.

If Democrats had their way, 76,009 Ohio family farms would be facing steep tax hikes.     Now, those farms—and the families who work them—can focus on feeding America instead.

Most Ohioans agree that their tax dollars shouldn’t fund foolishness around the globe when they’re working just to put food on the table back home.

For more than 25 years, helping Ohioans become career-ready and secure well-paying jobs has been one of my top priorities.    I was proud to help expand Pell Grant eligibility in our recent budget law so Ohioans can earn more workforce credentials that land good jobs.

Honored to be with our brave law enforcement at the annual FOP of Ohio conference in Sharonville this year. We must enforce law and order, back our men and women in blue, and thank them for their sacrifices to keep Ohio communities safe. I supported the Republican budget law and

“Don’t tell me how rough the sea is, just bring the ship in.”   Met with congressional interns and passed along a lesson in hard work that my football coaches taught me years ago.

Met with leaders across Ohio’s airports to discuss improving safety for travelers and flight crews and wins in the budget law, including modernizing and overhauling the U.S. air traffic control system.

Every year, interns come to serve their states in the halls of the Capitol. This week, I got to spend time with dozens of them, field their questions, and let them know we’re thankful for their service.

At my Husted Huddle, I heard from Ohioans about health care, education, and finance issues and initiatives throughout our state.   I appreciate everyone who came to share their ideas and perspectives—your feedback helps shape my work in the Senate.

Human traffickers target vulnerable Ohioans and Americans.    Department of Labor employees are on the ground conducting workplace inspections, so I wrote this bill to train them to spot and stop trafficking in real time. husted.senate.gov/press-releases…

Had the chance to meet with young Ohioans on their visit to the Capitol.   Grateful for the work @bgca_clubs does to prepare our youth for the workforce and academic success.

Had a productive meeting with Ohio Soybean Association, where we discussed biofuels, farm economy programs, and improving health outcomes for Ohioans.   Ohio’s farmers drive economic growth and ensure our state remains a leader in agriculture.

America’s security and prosperity have always depended on the strength of the United States Navy. America's Navy’s seal represents the bravery and sacrifice of our sailors.    I’m proud to display it in my office to show how grateful Ohio is for their service to our nation.

I enjoyed hearing from Austintown Township leaders and Ohio FFA students at the latest Ohio Open House.   They’re opening doors for the next generation of Ohioans and helping make our state a wonderful place to live, work, and thrive.

Americans asked Republicans to cut wasteful spending, and we delivered.

Americans are going to get every bit of information they need with or without taxpayers bankrolling NPR.   Ronald Reagan was trying to cut NPR 40 years ago. It’s 2025 now, and the U.S. debt is $36T—Congress has to stop spending money on outdated things we don’t need.

NPR is one of the most biased news organizations in America.   But that’s not why they got cut. They got cut because, frankly, America can't afford to continue to subsidize media outlets.
