This afternoon in the #SenCa I asked Senator Marc Gold about the overly optimistic projection scenarios in budget 2021. I reiterated concerns that any alternate but reasonable assumptions around growth & interest rates could have devastating impacts on our national debt.

It is with great sadness that I learnt of the passing of the Honourable Josée Forest-Niesing. Her departure will create a big void within the Franco-Ontarian community and certainly in the Senate Chamber. My most sincere condolences accompany her family and friends.

Today in QP I asked marcgold about the failed Onshore Program of the Emissions Reduction Fund. I also asked him to explain this government’s shortcomings when it comes to greenhouse gas emissions and climate change.
