Today was a banner day for the Senate Banking Committee.  Congratulations to Chairman Tim Scott for restoring the committee’s legislative functioning.

I applaud @Banking GOP for advancing the FIRM Act, moving the nation one step closer to stopping government overreach & safeguarding free markets.

I also applaud the bipartisan advancement of the GENIUS Act, legislation that will, at long last, enable a sensible regulatory framework for stablecoins.

The OCC has ceased examinations for reputation risk after years of overreach. While this is a welcomed step, we must codify these assurances into law. This FIRM Act would help achieve this. More: forfreemarkets.org/affm-statement…
