I opposed AB 699 because it hides critical tax and bond information from voters on the ballot. Californians deserve transparency and the ability to see the true cost of taxes before they make a decision.

#AB699 is a step backward for transparency. By letting local governments hide key tax and bond costs on the ballot, this bill keeps voters in the dark and undermines accountability. Californians deserve better.
